The new year brings 3 new syllabi for the IB science courses: Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
We are committed to providing the highest quality and most up-to-date resources for IB science. Understandably, we are therefore hard at work providing the new syllabi!
The new syllabi are largely a reorganisation of the existing syllabi, creating new topics with different ‘themes’. This means all Tiber Tutor content at present has a large degree of overlap with the new syllabus for each subject. However, the changes do result in small sections of new content being integrated to the syllabus. We are finalising resources for these sections at present and will release them soon!
The largest change to the new IB science syllabi is the movement of all paper 3 content (data-analysis) into the two main papers (paper 1 and 2). Likewise, Tiber Tutor content is being adapted to reflect this, including more data-analysis questions.
As mentioned previously, there is a great degree of overlap, so our current memberships will provide the necessary tools for students to enter the new syllabus. However, we know how important organised resources are, so our site will be updated very shortly with the new syllabi too. When released, all users with an active membership will be granted access to the new course!
To ensure you do not fall behind, we recommend joining as a member at this time, utilising our resources, and when upgraded for free, enjoying the new content.
There are even a few surprises coming with the new syllabi you don’t want to miss out on.
